Making my domain

In my process of installation of the WordPress site and domain, I found a lot of hindrances as at first I wanted to know the cheapest way to purchase a domain, while surfing the internet and YouTube I got to know about hosting, GoDaddy, and cheapname.com all which are good for purchasing domains while there was also to buy domain directly from the website builders like Squarespace, Wix and WordPress. Overall I wanted a balance between the price and data storage option that the domain H-panel offers. I knew I wanted to upload a lot of videos and pictures on my site and would require more than 50mbps to load my site as I would also have different animation navigation in different parts and sections of my site using JS code and custom CSS.

Domain + WordPress

Although I wanted to use Wix or Framer for this site I had to end up with WordPress, I did not like it at first but after getting to know all the plugin options I am enjoying using it and learning more about it, honestly, it is not that intuitive and is a bit slow even while using Elementor, in contrast to how easy and fast it is to make a site in Squarespace or Framer which are also visually appealing. Now, this opinion might be subjective as I am using a custom template that I purchased on Gumroad making my site load slower and my editing options much more restricted, if my aim was not to convert this site into a portfolio hub and solely focus on a blog site I would of chooses a different template.

Regardless, I do like all the options WordPress provides with plugins and there are plenty of visually stunning templates, for those reasons alone I would make more sites using this CMS, and when someone said WordPress is like Photoshop for website designing I believe them now, that being said Framer is said to be the next Figma, so who knows time will tell the tale for the best CMS!
